Bianca Guzman

ATTORNEY

Miss Guzman is an accomplished attorney with a strong foundation in both science and law. She hope to focus her practice in civil rights, constitutional law, civil litigation, and employment law. She brings a strong interdisciplinary background and a passion for advocacy to every client she serves.

 

Miss Guzman holds a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, a master’s degree in Education, and earned her juris doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law, graduating with high honors. While in law school, Miss Guzman received several notable awards, including the Jerry Smith Evidence Award, the Woolfe Scholarship, CALI Excellence Awards in Civil Pretrial Litigation and Negotiation, and graduated with a Concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. 

 

Prior to joining the firm, she completed a clerkship with the University of Tennessee; Office of the General Counsel, and an externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where she worked alongside federal prosecutors. She also gained valuable experience during her year with education law attorney Chris Sailor at the Knox County Public Defender’s Office and her time as a student attorney in UT Law’s Transactional and Domestic Violence clinics. Miss Guzman’s practice is rooted in a deep commitment to justice, informed by her broad academic training and practical experience across both prosecution and defense. Miss Guzman is licensed in Tennessee and Florida.

 

Miss Guzman resides in South Knoxville with her fiancé and their tabby cat, Dodger. She lives by her quote stating, “Where there is ambiguity, there is room for advocacy.”
